Super Paradise Mykonos Map And Beach Guide

A copy-cat version of its better-known neighbour Paradise Beach, the crassly named Super Paradise repeats the formula of disco music blasted over the sands and beach parties that rock into the night.

The relative isolation has made Super Paradise a favourite for gays and full nudity is not unusual despite the large crowds that now make their way here.

The beach lies on the south coast, just east of Paradise Beach, and it is set in a beautiful deep cove surrounded by cliffs. There is no direct bus service but taxi boats sail daily from Platis Yialos.

Access to Super Paradise is off the main road and down some very steep tracks but there is plenty of parking at the tavernas.

The sand is soft, with pebbles, and the water is shallow. Sunbeds form stately ranks and there are showers and the usual watersports.

The resort has a couple of mini markets, some souvenir shops, several tavernas and some howlingly noisy beach bars.

The surrounding hills are dotted with apartments and villas but large hotel development has yet to make its mark here.

Super Paradise beach parties have a reputation for being among best in Greece, if you enjoy that sort of thing, and attract many Greeks as well as foreigners.

The lack of large hotels and a non-existent bus service has made Super Paradise beach a tad more exclusive than its brasher neighbour Paradise Beach.
